- Take customer orders and prepare deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food items.
- Upsell additional products or specials to customers.
- Ensure the deli area is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain quality and freshness of products.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, ovens, and fryers.
- Maintain accurate cash handling and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
Qualifications - Previous experience in a food service or retail environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and proper sanitation practices.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
